In one way I feel like [bunch of smilies] because of what is going on all around us....just plain gross! But Jesus did tell us we would have trials and adversity (paraphrasing) in the latter days. In the other way with all this sin going on I know the Rapture has to beclose at hand. And I am so happy and grateful for that. We have to wade through the nastiness to get to the Great. I am not sure if this has been discussed before but does anyone think that the push for gay marriage is TPTB's way of population control? I know it is already a mockery of what God meant for marriage but was just wondering if there was "an added bonus" for those who are pushing this.

There is nothing gross, wrong or harmful in homosexuality. Only jackasses from the Abrahamic faiths believe this and you all take great delight in making life difficult for homosexuals.
If anyone is pushing for control here, it's your group, who have held the US in a stranglehold with your religious beliefs for far too long. At some point you had to expect revolution, and that's what the fight for gay marriage is.

If anything not allowing same-sex marriage is a form of population control. After all, if a couple is married that under almost all adoption laws would favor the couple for being stable and also favor them for IVF treatments, surrogates and sperm donors.

Did you know that homosexuality is a well known sign of the impending rapture, er...soon? This proves that the rapture will be er,...soon. Or to put it another way, a way perhaps more understandable to typical English speakers, it proves that the rapture will never happen.
Why? Because homosexuality is a sign of the impending rapture, and it always has been. And since homosexuality has been practiced by humans for hundreds of thousands of years, then er,...soon has always been the rapture's general state of readiness. Therefore, it is infinitely imminent.
1. "Trials and adversity" probably means something a little more dire than people you don't even know getting married.
2. "Those who are pushing this" are homosexuals who want to get married and their straight allies who want them to have equal rights, not some mythical Powers That Be.
3. Hide from the nastiness under your bed till the Rapture, because that's going to be any minute now, right?
