Just because you say something is widely considered evil, does not mean that something IS widely considered evil. Also, even if something is widely considered evil, that doesn't mean it IS evil. After all, one doesn't eat shit just because 6 trillion flies consider it delicious.

It's quite the catch-22, isn't it reg? You are scared of what you don't know, and apparently that is quite a lot. But instead of facing what scares you and NOT living in fear, you decide to shun knowledge and blanket yourself in paranoid superstitions.
What about the tree of knowledge? Since knowledge is evil and forbidden, isn't all science evil too? Let's move back to caves and cure diseases by prayer alone.
