For the nuts who think Christianity is the basis of all evil, if not for Christianity, there would be very few hospitals, schools, and charities. Truth hurts. Who would have created those? Atheists. Yeah, right.

I dont think that there would be any less hospitals, schools or charities.
without atheists, the hospitals could not cure you.
Without atheists, the knowledge beyond the bible would be banned from the common people, thus all schools would only be allowed to teach the bible.
Without atheists, the charities would only serve to spread the religion.
Well, of course you won't find any hospitals, schools or charities created by the United Atheist Association ... because no such thing exists; the only thing that atheists are united in is not believing in god. BUT, the vast majority of such institutions are created and supported by SECULAR organizations and individuals. If we were limited to those created and supported only by christians, we'd be in deep doo-doo.
Hospitals, schools, and charities exist in non-Christian societies, too, moron. In fact, they've existed in said societies before the introduction of Christianity. Lying for Jesus is bad.
If you think about your opinion deeply enough and read and comprehend history well enough, you'll find that you are wrong.
Truth and reality hurts but not all the time. Sometimes, it liberates you from the chains of dogma and faulty logic.
There are schools, hospitals and charities in Japan, China, muslim countries and secular ones. Non-sequitur?. Following your logic, were it not for the Pagan Romans, the Arabs in Spain or the Japananese, you'd not have this computer, because they have developed mathematics and electronics, essential to write this. And it comes from guys who scream if somebody proposes WELFARE(which, if not charity, I don't know what it is)
Atheists created modern medicine and modern science, thus producing the massive excess wealth that funds charities. Meanwhile the fundies opposed all this every step of the way. And you want to claim fundies created these things they despise? Yeah right. The fact is that religion is the basis of all evil. Truth hurts.
A Christian hospital would refuse to treat people with anti-biotic resistant bacteria because evolution is a lie.
A Christian school would refuse to teach any material that doesn't immediately agree with the Bible.
A Christian charity would help people by spreading the word of God, not by actually helping them.
Hospitals? Ever heard of Avicenna , bitch? Muslim, that one. And without the guy medicine would have been much, much poorer throughout the middle ages.
Schools? I think you might wanna give a nod to Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle for that one. Not really Xtians, the lot of them.
Charity? The Hindus were already there, done that and bought the t-shirt, 1500 years before your "God" soiled his nappies in that manger.
"Who would have created those?" indeed... Idiot.
Xianity certainly isn't the basis of all evil. Its purely temporal manifestation is wonderful - charitos, agape, all the beatitudes, etc.
Leaving out the spiritual element (which is sooo debatable), the problem is with fundies who would attach their charity to conditions, and force their faith on people who can't defend themselves
Yes, because medical treatment was so much more effective back when the Church controlled everything. Why, the life expectancy in the Dark Ages was twice what it is now that all those atheist scientists keep inventing heathen cures to evolving bacteria that can't possibly exist.
Because atheists don't need medical care, education, and help from others. Right?
If you want to justify the glory (?) of Christianity you really will have to do better than trot out the same old falsehoods. There is no reason - none whatsoever - why a hospital, school or charity needs to be aligned with religion in any way at all.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
