[Regarding the student expelled from Cumberland University for being gay]
The only reason this is "News" is because he was a sodomite. The Marxist-dominated media will prop up a homosexual on any occaision available to them, in order to advance their agenda of destroying the traditional family, programming children with political correctness, and spreading hatred towards God Almighty.

@mad dog True. But some people want to tempt fate. See if they can get attention.
I'm not claiming he did it for this reason, but I can't really think about any other reason to go to a school filled with people who hate your sexual orientation.
If you want to stay in touch with your friends, go out every once in a while. Start a movie marathon once in the month or something. But don't go to a place where they do not like you.
And I'll leave the whole legal debate to the lawyers and judges.
Someone else's sexualuality doesn't destroy your traditional family. Making children aware of behavior which is offensive isn't programming. Granted political correctness can get out of hand sometimes, but not always. As to gays spreading hatred of God, that isn't true for all gay people. Even if it were, so what? What did you expect? Your type of Xian moron are always spouting off about how homosexuality is an abomination and how terrible those gays and lesbians are. I'm not gay, but, if your God was real, I'd hate him too.
I'd like to remind Restformationist that you'd be hard pressed to come up with a regime more oppressive to homosexuals than the old Soviet Union, that once-shining bastion of Marxism and godlessness.
Educate yourself, fucktard!
Of course it's news. America is where people go to avoid persecution, and here we have an example in an institution of higher learning. I would be shocked if it hadn't received any media attention. BTW, here's a little something for you to chew on, I, and probably most if not all of the people who post on this site, would be just as outraged if the person so expelled had been the victim of religious persecution. Expelling someone because of their genetics, religion, political views, etc., is never justified.
Frankly, if anyone is spreading hatred towards God Almighty, it is these bigoted, arrogant, self-righteous fundy Christians who try to deny the civil rights of others and impose their beliefs by legislation.
I would say a student expelled because of his sexuality IS quite newsworthy, be it hetero- or homo-.
Of course, it could be a homosexual expelled for non-related reasons, but nothing points to that.
I never understood how gays "destroyed the traditional family".
Also, I think the guy should sue or something.
No, the reason that this is news is because the university expelled BECAUSE he was gay. Nothing to do with bad grades, truancy, or violent behavior. They expelled him on discriminatory terms. This would be news if it had been a black student being expelled solely based on his/her race or a Muslim student being expelled solely based on his/her religion. And yes, if a Christian student was expelled due to her/his religion, it would be news. One of the values that our country holds so dear is acceptance, anti-discrimination. That discrimination did in fact take place, in a university no less, merits the media's attention. So shut up with your paranoid conspiracy theories.
How do people believe this stuff? Yes, everybody who disagrees with your narrow view is out to destroy families, America, and sunshine. Also, they kick puppies. And eat babies.
How dare we teach our children to tolerate and, hopefully, come to accept other ways of living and thinking! God wants us to be a bunch of ignorant, hateful, non-thinking Bible-humpers, dammit!
Confused?
