"SELF", unlike Jehovah, doesn't require 10% of my gross income. Likewise, I have yet to have people show up at my door to tell me all about the glories of "SELF"; nor are there entire television channels devoted to spreading the word of "SELF".

Oddly enough, of the people I know who do work for charity most are atheists, or at least agnostics, or in one case a lapsed Catholic. Catholics run a close second for as misguided as their ideas often are they do believe 'For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.(James 2:26). 'Sola Fide' protestants run a very poor fourth in my book.

The idea that everyone "worships" something is pretty common in fundamentalist circles. The claim is that if you're not worshiping God, you're worshiping yourself, or your friends, or your job, or your own pleasures. Equivocation on the meaning of the word "worship" aside, this is one of those claims that is usually made without scriptural support, but people believe it anyway if the guy in the pulpit says it emphatically enough.
You pea-brained dolt. If you get yourself some good lexicographical references you'll save yourself plenty of embarrassment.
But, by all means, go ahead and invent a new language that all you fundies can use. A language where the word for theist means the same as the word for atheist for instance. But don't hold your breath expecting the whole world not to laugh at you.

Yeah, Christians are completely selfless. It's not like they lie, cheat, steal, beat gays, oppose civil rights, and bomb federal buildings and abortion clinics.
