We are not talking about your interpretation of Genesis or your devotion to God.
[Oh, but we are. You're saying that I'm not a Christian, but an agnostic, if I accept the Theory of Evolution and everything else that usually goes with it in the scientific consensus. You're yet to tell me how that makes me not a Christian, as I believe I have fulfilled the criteria that actually matters.....]
Saying you truly believe God exists but also truly believe Evolution is completely real is a logical fallacy and hypocritical. You are just trying to please the other side and save you beliefs.
The Bible talks about evolution and says that people that believe in it are fools. Does that meet your criteria?

Chapter and verse? And hey, if the Bible talks about evolution, and everything in the Bible is true, then evolution must be a fact.
"Saying you truly believe God exists but also truly believe Evolution is completely real is a logical fallacy"
No, it isn't. In fact you're the one committing the logical fallacy of a false dichotemy.
"The Bible talks about evolution and says that people that believe in it are fools"
Um.. no it doesn't.
And just where does the bible mention evolution?
There's nothing wrong with a Christian accepting evolution. It just means that the person is sane enough to put their personal faith in a position of reality.

I can't just take your word for it. Prove it.
[The Bible talks about evolution and says that people that believe in it are fools.]
Evolution is not mentioned in the Bible.
What does the Bible say about people who misquote scripture to serve themselves?

There's plenty of people who understand that the Theory of Evolution is completely valid and manage to work their religious beliefs around it. Ah the wonders of mental compartmentalization.

Chapter and verse, or you're making it up.
Where exactly does the Bible talk about evolution?
I'd expect something like: "Verily I say unto thee, the mighty T. Rex will turn into ostriches and chicken, but it will take so many million years none of my deluded fundtard followers will believe it."
The Bible talks about evolution...
No it doesn't.
...says that people that believe in it are fools.
No it doesn't.
Does that meet your criteria?
It meets my criteria for being a complete load. I just love how anyone that differs in any way from traditional Christian orthodoxy is gang-f***ed by his brothers in Christ while they scream in his ear that he's not a "real" Christian.
fundie-fight!!!! My faith's better than yours! I can JUDGE you because I'm one of god's favorites.
PS @Old Viking: not even the bable or god attempts to explain the off-side rule in associated football (soccer)
Ecclesiastes 3 (King James Version)
"18I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts.
19For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast: for all is vanity.
20All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again.
21Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth?"
Common ancestry, anyone?
An evolutionist can be Christian maybe they've been overeducated and don't trust their heart anymore but maybe on the other hand they're actually right but then Southern Baptists would be wrong, it's so confusing, if Pat Robertson was wrong about creationism and the Catholics and Anglicans were right about evolution b/c they think it's true because the like science and stuff.
A) The bible no where speaks about evolution
and B) The Pope, gawd's infallible attorney here on Earth, said himself in the mid-1990's that Christianity and evolution were not rivals, but brothers, the evolution did happen, and gawd was the guiding force. And that dude got all his science info from gawd.
So, fuck you.
"The Bible talks about evolution and says that people that believe in it are fools."
Bullshit. This is why Christians should read the Bible. They never read the damn thing, but instead depend upon what their priest or pastor tells them.
Why is it always evolution with these guys? Why not photosynthesis or the water cycle or the seasons? All natural processes that can be observed, but they always get hung up on evolution...
"Saying you truly believe God exists but also truly believe photosynthesis is completely real is a logical fallacy and hypocritical."
Grammar is no big thing with you either, apparently...
Confused?
