You see, there are a hundred variants of Christianity and a thousand different faiths. The odds that you have chosen the right one, are quite slim. And even if you have chosen the right one, you are probably not following that faith correctly. Throughout history books have been added to the Bible and taken away from the Bible. What if one of those books not included in King James included a really important rule?
If Hell exists, you'll be there. If your God offers no mercy for a child in Syria raised as a Muslim, what hope do you have that he'll show mercy for your consumption of shellfish, your failure to offer flesh sacrifices, your condemnation of others, or you boisterous showing off of your faith?
