Humans WERE giants in those days. They were 13 freaking feet tall.

Not a single bone supports this stupid assertion. Not a single independent account verifies it. Please tell your pastor that repeating something over and over, no matter how loudly, does NOT make it true!
EDIT: Of course, if you could PROVE that there had been 13-foot-tall people, this would lend a great deal of support to the veracity of Norse mythology! Bring on the fire giants and frost giants -- Thor will smite them!

"Anonymous", It's physically impossible for a humanoid to be over around nine and a half feet. Saying that, I can see how anyone over six feet would be viewed as a giant in Biblical times. You should look into how much the average height of humans has grown; even over the last 100 years.

The pi=3 thing, I've always thought, is interesting. It does in fact say that, though I think the reason it's pulled out so much is mostly to tweak people convinced of the infallibility of the Bible.
To a nonbeliever or a nonliteralist, it's perfectly reasonable to say that 30/10 is just a whole-number approximation of the value of pi. The problem arises when literalists harp on the "accuracy" of the Bible, at which point it's fair game to point out that the math is way off in that particular verse.
It's sort of like work attendance -- if you're usually punctual, people won't give you a hard time if you show up late once in a great while. If you're a habitual latenik, though, the boss very well might be a little ticked off at you and therefore might come down on you harder than on the punctual person. A nonliteralist can write off the pi=3 approximation as literary license from a situation where too much math would obscure the message. A literalist, however, is locked into that position and can therefore be nailed to the wall with minor details like that.
Hey Brent
1 Kings 7:23 - And he made a molten sea, ten cubits from the one brim to the other: it was round all about, and his height was five cubits: and a line of thirty cubits did compass it round about.
2 Chronicles 4:2 - Also he made a molten sea of ten cubits from brim to brim, round in compass, and five cubits the height thereof; and a line of thirty cubits did compass it round about.
Well, according to your bible, people also lived to be 300 years old and Methuselah lived to be (correct me if I'm wrong) 893 if I remember correctly (which I actually doubt. ) Yet today, with all our medical science and better understanding of the human body, we live to be 65-100 years old most of the time.
Confused?
