We aren't exactly burning people at the stake [for being gay] these days! Why is the worst act in the world the judgemental act? This is the one act that has kept the world in some form of healthy balance since time began.

Well at least he's not wishing for the return of trial by ordeal, the pear of suffering, the rack, the iron maiden, the spike helmet thing, drawing and quartering, the liar's chair, public starvation cages and the cat of nine tails. Yes, we should all be lucky he doesn't want any of those to return
Wolight, Hadanelith, you missed my personal favourite - a little number known as "the rat". The, uh, "suspect" lies on his back, and an open-bottomed cage with a rat in it is placed on his stomach. Hot coals are placed on top of the cage, causing the terrified animal to try and DIG its way to freedom. Ouch.
Seeker is trying to say, in his fucktarded manner, that a judgemental act is OK.
Beware, though, because once all the gays are gone, using this method, it will become an internicene war of dogma versus dogma, with a large crop of martyrs.
If only these people had a book of rules.
They could turn to it for guidance.
I bet it says that you shouldn't judge people.
The worlds been in a relatively "healthy balance" just enough for us, many of us to live well and prosper. The worlds a shakey, spitty, windy, unforgiving mother, she don't tuck you in or spoil you.
"healthy balance" merely being, we spread out enough and were ingenious enough (some of our ancestors) to adapt, build shelter, control fire and cloths ourselves against the world.
Gay oppression or condemnation has only set the "norm" or "acceptable behavior" peremiters. These peremiters have shown no useful funtion. I don't get gay, but I don't see (statistically substantiated) how it hurts mankind overall.
Family dynamic, yes, but so do in-laws, of all walks of life.
For "healthy balance", you stay on your side of that wall and I'll stay on my side. That wall, of course, is the one separating church from state.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
