Umm, what do they not get about a "theory" ?
That's what get's me It's still the "theory of evolution" but somehow, gee - wonder how that happened - Satan has made it in to "fact" in our public school system. Shameful, and sinful

I repeat myself: In science a theory is a thoroughly tested and proven explanation of observed facts. It represents the highest degree of certitude. You know, like the heliocentric theory, the theory of relativity ... that kind of stuff.
You're right -- it is only a theory.
Too bad you have no fucking idea what one is. I believe the word you wish to use in place of theory is "hypothesis" except evolution is not a hypothesis it is in fact a theory as you've stated.
Now, look up the words you don't understand and then get back to me with an apology.
I remember the first thing my science teacher said to us when we started learning evolution was that it was a theory; it can't be proven absolutely beyond a shadow of a doubt, but we have a fairly good idea that it's right.
I think that puts it fairly nicely.

No Satan didn't. SCIENCE made it a reasonable theory to be taught in school, Religious creation can be taught in your church or synagogue, but a little thing called FACTS, not beliefs are required for science.
