Those on the Evolution side use their education to bully those who didn't study science. They think they are cute, but they really come across as bullies throwing around scientific terms those on the Creationist side do not understand.

If you're going to tell the entire scientific world they're wrong, and try to make public schools teach your version of reality to other peoples' kids, then you have an obligation to know what you're talking about. Otherwise, you're not just wrong; you're dangerous. If you don't know what you're talking about, shut up.
This person is what the word 'fuckwit', was invented for.
If the Bible Literalists don't know what they're opponents are talking about - here's an idea, read about and ya know, learn.
Look, we're perfectly happy to explain, but you guys never seem to listen, so most of us just give up.
We think we're cute? Hey, Christianite, I know I'm cute. All the time I was growing up my mother kept telling me how cute I am. And smart, too. So there.
And of course fundies go out of their way to not sound alien to us normal people. I mean, when was the last time you heard one drown himself in metaphors and words such as 'vile'?
Secondly, it's not our fault you're not educated in science - it's the fault of the fundie schools you go to. Yes, I suppose we should get better at explaining terms, but simultaneously, you should be properly schooled.
Mirror, mirror.
"I don't mind being called ignorant. Ignorant means you can learn. Stupid means that there's no hope." --Calvin Mackey
I think Christianite is ignorant and stupid. Ignorant, for the opinion on science. Stupid, for thinking that's a valid argument.
A few of those on the YEC side use willful ignorance to irritate those who have studied science. They think they are cute, but they really don't come across well when they argue from a -lack- of understanding.

evolution is bullshit
Learn what it really is, not that fake version the creationist sites put out. Then get back to us.
carl sagan was a fool
Carl Sagan had more knowledge in his pinky finger than you have in your whole brain.
and you're all faggots, so who cares what you think
I'm not gay, but I certanly care what my gay friends think. They're quite interesting people.
They´re also building computers, discovering vaccines and many other commodities that the Creationists use with greed. Moreover, if Creationists want to label their shit as "science", they´d better start understanding it, for that matter.
That's not too different from demanding that a tech support person tell you how to solve your problem "without using any of those fancy computer words".
Technical jargon is what it is for a reason -- in any technical field, from tech support to biology to theology, there is almost always going to be things and concepts that simply don't exist outside that world, or things that have "normal names" that might be confusing in a technical context. For those things, we have specific names. That is technical jargon. In order to have a conversation with someone on that subject, you need to learn to speak the language. Suck up and deal.
I'm the first one to say that I don't know shit about shit, but what I am willing to do is use the resources available to me, this internet thingy is a good start, and do a bit of research. I look up words I don't know, I find out who people were and what they contributed to society, and I try to keep up with the news. It isn't so hard. But it's not going to just drop in your lap, you actually have to do some legwork on this.
Make an effort, not an excuse.
Well, perhaps education is a remedy to your problem, Christianite. You use the word science like it's a bad thing. You wouldn't have your computer or the Internet to bitch about the science bullies if it was for science.
@Redhunter
Make an effort, not an excuse.
I want this quote as a bumper sticker.
Awww, quite whining. You're the one who chose to live a life of wilful ignorance. It's not like there's a secret club whose members are the only ones with access to books, the Internet, and education. Sheesh!
Aw, punkin! Poor you! All those big, big words and stuff.
fyi: I'm not a scientist and I understand the basics. All it takes is a little curiosity. But then, all it takes is a little curiosity. So there you go.
Creationist: "Ha, ha, you're educated. I don't need to be educated, I've got others tell me what is real".
i honestly feal sorry for her, i would gladly take the time to teach her about evolutionary basics.
oh shit, i sound like a missionary spreading the word of evolution to those who havnt herd it yet.
Well, we just assume that because you have so much to say on the topic, you might be familiar with some of the basic concepts and terminology.
Maybe if you don't know anything about the science of evolution, you should go learn BEFORE you join a debate.
Heeee. Well, I guess I'm 'on the Evolution side' and the only science I ever formally studied was Physics, which really has fuck all to do with evolution, so that's no excuse.
Those on the Evolution side use their education to bully those who didn't study science.
I don't "bully" anyone. However, if I find someone's opion to be absurd, I'm going to tell them that.
...throwing around scientific terms those on the Creationist side do not understand.
Read up on evolution then.
If I'm a bully for having a good vocabulary, then explain to me why I'm on the receiving end of the punch so much more often?
Furthermore, I don't think of myself as 'cute.' The fact that you think this probably means you think of your side as 'cute.' Well, you know what? In terms of intellectual arguments, cute generally means ineffective. Nice unintentional honesty, there.
"Use their education...."
Are you even real?
I have not studied more science than what I was required to do, in accordance with our compulsory school attendance laws. When I don't understand something I go to Wikipedia and skim through the text there (often both the English and the Swedish versions).
If it sounds interesting I go to the library to learn more. If it sounds really interesting I buy books on the subject, so that I can highlight things and write things in the margins.
"Those on the Evolution side use their education to bully those who didn't study science."
Even if 'twere the case (which it isn't) frankly they deserve everything they get for accepting a load of fictional bullshit instead of acknowledging facts . Besides, Four Words: Kitzmiller versus Dover, bitches.
And anyway, in the grand scheme of things, it's only the Creationists who'll suffer. Whilst those who know Evolution is fact will graduate and get the good jobs in scientific research, mayhaps even teaching careers, professorships at MIT etc. Contributing massively to the advancement of humanity and it's knowledge.
...and no, I don't want fries with that, (*looks at name badge *)... 'Christianite'.
So the people who want to execute or forcibly "cure" gay people, deport all Muslims and have filled our prisons to beyond breaking with their demands to "restore law and order" feel bullied by people who have bothered to educate themselves.
For some reason I find myself with a distinct lack of sympathy.
Confused?
