So why do Christians literally everywhere go to an Old Testament passage to find the foundational verse for their beliefs?
Why don't they go to a verse that's not part of the Old Testament?
Why don't they go to a verse that's located in what's called the "Dispensation of the Grace of God"? (Ephesians 3:2)

I don't know.
I suppose it just comes down to lack of good Biblical education.
Well, now you know better! Now you know that John 3:16 is an Old Testament verse that is operating under the Mosaic law.
