What other options would Mr. Hicks like? Adam sinned and that sin passed upon all humanity (Romans 5:12). If God hadn't sent His only begotten Son into the world to pay for our sins (John 3:16 - all quotes from King James Bible), then we'd all spend eternity burning in Hell where we deserve to go. Instead of thanking God for the gift of eternal life, skeptics like Bill Hicks blaspheme and place God on trial as being unfair. Truly, the lost enjoy forever the horrible freedom from God they have demanded.
