Dumbass, a scientific theory isn't scrapped. It must be disproved, using the scientific method, ie. research, observable results, repeatable results, etc.
No scientific theory is "blindly" accepted. It is only through testing a scientifice theory that credence is gained. So far, the ToE has not been disproven, only fortified.
Name a real scientist who has abandoned the ToE.
