I think I may have made the understatement of the century with 'Backwards Decade', especially after I clicked onto the quote link and saw this by Freeper MNDude:

"A lot of guys might have wives that pay no attention to the news and don’t even own a computer."

1- Unless the husband knows enough about computers (and as I work in a computer shop, I can testify to the fact that so many men don't, otherwise my place of work would have gone out of business way before now!) to at least put a password on the OS, never mind on the pre-bootup BIOS setting, then his wife has at least access to a comnputer. You FAIL.
2- Laptops are cheap enough. I should know, as my current setup cost just £79 from a branch of Cash Converters (with another £50 in RAM/HD upgrades & new battery). If I, a man, can shop around for a bargain like that, and you know how canny the opposite gender are when it comes to being consumers too, therefore so can a woman. You FAIL II.
3- Never heard of Smartphones? Effectively pocket computers these days. Facebook. Twitter. Things going 'Viral'. Including information. Things aren't kept secret for long. You FAIL III, and have struck out.
Just because Josh Buggar had absolute control over his wife, doesn't mean that all women are like that. So indeed, when it comes to those on Free Repubic:
