The pope expects the adoration of “the faithful”. His false humility is a joke and his call to “spread the wealth” is only designed to incite the masses. As far as I have seen, there has never been a pope who has given a true gospel message.

A catholic’s faith is in his church, not in the Lord Jesus Christ. If the catholic is truly saved, it is probably because a saved man or woman witnessed to him, and the Holy Spirit moved upon his/her heart.

I do not think that it will be long before Bible Believers will be outlaws. At this present time, we who hold the KJV to be the true and perfect word of God are probably the smallest of all minorities.
There are some that “prefer” and “use” the KJV but, when pressed, will tell you that there are mistakes in the text.

When you hear a man say; “The original manuscripts say (such and such), it will tell you that he has issues with the authority of the word of God. “—from such turn away.” (1 Timothy 3:5)

The catholic church is a master of confusing people. To take away the foundation of the faith from people is it’s greatest weapon. If you can get people to believe that there is no perfect bible, you will have created a mushy, sissified, worldly “christianity”.

Errors:

1. The pope does not expect adoration. He is not God and he knows it, ergo he has NO RIGHT to it. His proper title is Vicar of Christ, which basically means he's a viceroy (since Christ is the King).

2. Catholics do not believe that being Catholic automatically guarantees salvation. Our Bibles still contain the verse about how not everyone who calls Jesus "Lord" will be allowed entry into heaven. Has this guy even read our Credo, does he know what we declare as our profession of faith?

3. KJV-only-ism is not something I am an expert in, but I am fairly sure someone more erudite than I can tackle the issue.

Personally, in response to the charge that most modern translations are based on corrupted manuscripts, I'll stick with the Douay-Rheims translation since it was based on the Vulgate, the Latin translation penned by St. Jerome. Sure it might be a translation of a translation, but all it needs is a little revising based on new knowledge of ancient vocabulary and rewording of antiquated usage.

4. Do I have to remind people that it was the early Church Fathers who decided what books went into the Bible to begin with?

Pope Francis is probably closer to a "true gospel message" than any other pope has been.

I don't think religion will be outlawed in the US anytime soon, silly. Some 70 percent of the population are Christians. Sweden is one of the least religious countries in the world, but many Swedes, like me, are still members of the Swedish Church. Some because they haven't gotten round to revoke their membership yet (before year 2000 you were automatically entered at birth, if your parents were members), and I and many like me think that they do a lot of good for people in need, both in Sweden and in the world, and being a tax-paying member is an easy way to be a part of that work.

If that's true, then it seems obvious that "Bible Believers" should be taken literally, that your belief is not in Jesus Christ, but the Bible.

My KJV says for 1 Timothy 3:5 - (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)

What you actually want is 2 Timothy 3:5. Here are the first five verses of 2 Timothy 3 to give us the context:

1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

Nothing about "having issues with the authority of the word of God" here; it's about turning away from people who have a form of godliness yet deny it and the others on this list. In making your statement, not only are you lying for your cause, but you use what you claim is the "true and perfect word of God" as if it were an original manuscript, thereby doing exactly what you steal the words of 2 Timothy to say.

Incidentally, I don't notice KJV-only people explaining words that have changed their meaning in English since the 17th century - and there are many - but still insist on the "plain meaning" of the text, thus deceiving themselves and others.
