If you ever have an infection, be sure to ask your doctor for Prontosil. If it worked in the 1940s, and evolution doesn't occur, than it must surely still be effective, right?
Most fundies are in their own little world, where science is seen as an evil attempt to deny the accuracy of Genesis, force their children to become lesbians, and worship Crowley / Darwin. They haven't the foggiest clue that people used to die from infectious diseases, A LOT, in the past. That many parents would have 12 children and only 4 would make it to adulthood. That people would get an infected finger and simply DIE from the blood poisoning. To them, all disease is caused by the sin of civilization, and not one bit of science is in any way even benevolent, the famine in Ethiopia in 1985 was engineered by rock stars who wanted to make money from the Live Aid concert, etc. So privileged they are, to be able to throw stones at doctors and scientists.

Well, the first thing that springs to mind is the complete mapping of the Human genome.
No more insulin for you. What you ARE diabetic ? Bummer... noone figured out a way to genetically manipulate some sort of yeast bacteria to produce insulin for those people that don't.
EDIT : Oh wait, they DID figure that out, I guess you CAN have insulin, but just stop bitching that evolutionary (that's how it's spelled by the way) biology hasn't done anything.

So, if someone were to ask you to prove that your parents existed, and you pointed to yourself, you would actually be disproving your parents?
