Atheists are often very open-minded. All we ask for is good, credible evidence for your God and the biblical Jesus and we would be believers too.

haha this is awesome. I posted this comment years ago on I don't even remember what, and it got all this feedback from (what is this site? I clicked to it thru google) I (the person who wrote the above quote^^) am not and was not a christian, or a fundamentalist. when I said I used to be an Atheist, it meant I used to be sure, but now I'm not. Do I believe in any of the religious myths, Jesus for example? No. I am I guess closest to being an agnostic in that I DON'T KNOW the true nature of existence or reality (God is a word some people use to describe that concept) I'm a huge science fan, but even science has some BIG QUESTIONS that are as of yet unanswered. That's why I take umbrage with Atheism, it's often just as dogmatic about NO GOD as the "fundies" are about GOD. Daaaamn I was right about the Atheist Internet trolls....

I think this original comment was posted on a video where some dude who happened to be an atheist was also being an asshole. when an atheist says something like: "I know there is no god, and if you think there is a god you are stupid/mindless", that bothers me. I haven't yet heard an argument from anyone that completely convinces me either way as to whether or not there is SOME KIND of higher power... so when someone says they know something that is UNKNOWN and possibly UNKNOWABLE, it bothers me. And the flying spaghetti monster thing also bothers me, I understand the point it's trying to make, but it's kind of a dick move. totally patronizing and divisive... if you want people to listen to you, don't insult them
