Even tho I am angered and saddened by this EVIL Bill being passed I see this atrocity as JESUS"s words and prophecies being fulfilled..image

THis bill passing is THE WAY to legallly gain access to ALL AMERICANS physical bodies to implant that chip.....Things are happening just as HE prophesied in HIS word....

IF we belong to the LORD. and we all do here, I am CONFIDENT we will NOT be here in a few years when it is forced on everyone....

Got news for ya, Cheryl. A nationwide socialised healthare system was introduced decades before President Obama's Health Reform Bill was passed: the National Health Service here in the UK. In the late 1940s.

And to date, we haven't had chips inserted in us, nor any 'mark' put on us British citizens. I'd say that your Bible has got it's 'prophecies' way off the mark - or the 'End Times' will never happen. Most countries in Europe have similar healthcare systems (especially in the Scandinavian countries). We're still here.

I don't recall Jesus making a whole lot of prophecies, especially not ones about the modern times, but I do distinctly remember him helping the sick and poor and commanding his followers to do the same.

Since when is a chip implanted ON the skin? And who in their right mind implants it in their forehead anyway (if we ignore the in/on contradiction)? From what I've read, it seems like a visible mark, more like a tattoo than a chip.

As much as I'd love to believe that all of the fundies are going to disappear from the planet in one swoop, people have been predicting the end times since the beginning times and all it seems to be is a bunch of people who are terrified of any significant change to the status quo panicking.

No he didn't. The word "antichrist" appears nowhere in the bible. The closest he came was talking about false prophets. And he never said the tribulation would be seven years.

Bullshit. Free or no, the hospital has no right to do anything against your wishes. They are granted no more access to you than they did already, so why would the eeevil mark be coming from the hospitals now, and not before?

Try reading the Bible. Jesus said none of those things. They were the insane ravings of that lunatic who wrote Revelation.

There's nothing in the health care bill that says anything about chips. It says insurance companies can't cancel your insurance just because you get sick. It says they can't refuse you coverage because you have a pre-existing condition. It says you can't have lifetime maximums. It says we're going to stop subsiding Medicare Advantage plans. It says if you don't have insurance, you have to pay a tax to pay back the rest of us for when you get sick and we have to pick up the bill (in most states, if you don't have car insurance, they'll revoke your license; and your mortgage company requires you to have fire insurance; so the health care bill actually goes easier on irresponsible people who cost other people money).

Show me in the Bible which of those things Jesus would be against.

Well, Cheryl, Jesus, if you have ever read the Gospels, was a person who approved of healing the sick and poor. You seem totally against this. So how can you reconcile your selfish and irrational views with those of the healer that you claim as your Lord.

BTW, the chip is for real. Only it's not implanted. Here in France it's on my Carte Vitale - something like a bank card for withdrawing cash from a bank machine. I can choose to use this card or not. So it's not quite in keeping with your view of the Mark of the Beast.

I remember something that I was taught was never predict the end of the world. I believe Jesus himself said it "for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night." 1 Thessalonians 5:2

Of course this was just about two millennia ago, and he also said that those who talked to him in person (if he was real) would still be alive for the end of the world.

If you can answer the only way possible - and that answer can only be one word - then you've just destroyed your own argument.

And the Repubicans will have lost the moral argument in opposing said bill. After all, if they have as much 'faith' and religious conviction as you who vote for them have...

Why do you even need healthcare - private or socialised - in the first place? Your 'God' should be able to cure all ills; after all, Jesus made the lame walk, the blind see, those afflicted with leprosy normal again, and the mad become sane. Even raised the dead. A prayer a day should keep the doctor away, amirite?

If you have your 'faith' in your 'God', then you don't need all of that 'work of Satan' that is medical science, eh? If you even need medical insurance, then you don't have much faith in your 'Faith' hmmmmmm, Cheryl (and everyone else on Ruptured Retards)?!

In summation: why are you (and your ilk) so concerned about the passing of this bill? Medical care is needed for those who can't (or don't put their faith in 'Faith') pray away their afflictions and need direct medical intervention. And try telling the millions of Americans who previously couldn't afford insurance, but will now be able to get treatment, that this idea is such an evil thing, Cheryl.

As I've said before (but bears repeating), we in the UK have had the National Health Service since the late 1940s. Most of Europe has has more or less the same thing (hell, in most of the EU, British citizens can have free healthcare - paid for by the NHS - in other EU countries if we take with us a particular document). We're still here.

But then, if the Repubicans are so opposed to the whole concept of socialised medicine, why did Sarah Failin, years ago, cross the Canadian border on many occasions to take advantage of their free healthcare, hmmmmm?! Yet, she dares to criticise President Obama's spending on this healthcare policy, but she said nothing about her own God Emperor of Fucking up, George Dumbya Bush's wasting trillions of dollars on the Iraq war. Hypocrisy. It's in the DNA of the Religious Right.

reading the first few comments i see that most bloggers are idiots, i mean that in love ofcourse being a youth pastor. First of all rfid are under 6 cents, which is probably what most of you all have in your checking accounts. Second of all rfid is already used globally and was invented and patented in the early 80's. Look at page 1000 of the recently passed bill section c its all there. And for those of you who are sadly attempting to quote scripture, do us all a favor and stick to your vast collection of every one poops and run spot run. Cheryl i too got caught up in the excitement of studying eschatology and the rapture, Jesus said no one but the father knows its time, we certainly have indications, just know that if the world hates you remember it hated Christ first. the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to those who are being saved it is the power of God.
