I am SURE he was awesome.....and wonderful giving man..... a thoughtful and wonderful husband and father.....and used his job to bring joy to those who heard.
BUT you can NOT just do good or think good to be Heavenly bound or to be counted or written in the BOOK OF LIFE. I am sorry but there is NO gray areas there.....
I pray you are right that the he quietly believed.....but the WORDS says CONFESS with your mouth that Jesus Christ is LORD. Never to be ashamed of the Word of the one WHO became the WORD! The HUMBLE and MEEK was our Lord to lay down HIS life for all men. The only time our LORD was silent was when HE knew silence spoke MORE than words could!
The CROSS was where Jesus was silent .....HIS BLOOD spoke loudly.....and His last words...... IT IS FINISHED..... said it all!! amen

Gods will is to have ALL of HIS Creation with HIM in Heavenly places.....BUT it must come from your HEART and then your voice to chose the WAY the TRUTH and the Life....Jesus Christ.
HE Jesus is the ONLY WAY to the Father.....to be born again of Jesus Christ....amen
After all GOD is calling us back to Him.....WHY.....do we NOT hear HIM??? amen
