(On the subject of Kent Hovind's position on creationism)

I would rather someone believe in a false teaching of origins of life(for creationism) then to believe in the abomination that is the evolution theory.[even though both are bad-the lesser of two evils] The origin of life debate is not important for salvation but believing in His Word is. So even if some of his arguments are false, those false evidences have probably brought thousands to forget about the evolution theory and back to Christ. For the Lord uses evil to make good. I'm not saying he is evil.
