That is one reason things are going so bad here and freedoms going by the way side. Just wait til Hillary and/or Obama past the hate crime laws that make direct criticisim of Roman Catholicism or other false religions like Islam criminal.

No, they are not. They know that doing so would give you a massive masochist's erection, and they really don't want to have to go through the trouble of rallying up joyful martyrs while a horrified, sane public watches them be gleefully tortured and executed for the sake of their delusions.
And your basis for these statements is...What in past actions has led you to believe this? Is there a pattern?

What is a direct criticism? Something like "fundies all need to get their heads out of their asses so their brains can grow?" Would that qualify?
Y'know, freedoms in America are supposed to include freedom to practice religion. Nowhere in the constitution does it say only Christians have rights.
Oh, and the hate crime laws are there for a reason.

Actually, I disagree with so-called hate crime laws, as their effect is to criminalize thought--an action which odium rivals the very ideas it seeks to punish. Mere speech, however, isn't covered by these laws--this isn't hard to understand. Moreover, it's misguided to think that US elites would ever forbid the "direct criticism" of Islam, especially since racism against Arabs and Muslims is virtually the only accepted, indeed encouraged, sort of racism in the West.

But he totally can shoot lightning bolts from his hands. It's cool. Protestants are just jealous. All they can do is smack people on the forehead, yell "Be Healed!" and make the person fall over. Heck anyone with a good jab punch can do that..
You're just pissed off because you don't get to conduct your very own Inquisition on anyone who isn't kissing your ass.
As for "scrape and bow before his master", isn't that what Bush did to King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia? Oh right, whatever Bush does is holy... I always forget that!
