Liberals don't love to think that, it just seems to be the way things have turned out. It needn't be that way. There's no need for you to come on the internet and help prove such an obvious fact as your and other fundies' stupidity. It's obvious enough as it is.

Daft buggers like you believe in a monstrous Cosmic Overlord, and its well known that it helps to maintain that belief by resorting to an unquestioning faith in what your authority figures tell you to believe. It's well known that god-botherers abhor general education, curiosity, science and reality. Instead, they prefer to revel in superstition, ignorance, and fantasy. This is further enforced by a slavish acceptance of whatever they're told by other lying weasels, as well as an indulgence in senseless bigotry and by groveling before the hocus-pocus sky guy. Bible God, the ultimate non-existent and invisible conman.

Once again, the sin of Sodom and Gomorrah was not homosexuality, it was inhopsitality. JESUS even said so, lest I'm mistaken. The mob did not want to have sex with the angels, they wanted to RAPE AND KILL THEM. Subtle difference.

We've had registered partnership for ten-odd years and gender-neutral marriage laws for a few years. No crumbling, no reaping of bad things, no acts of God, no school shootings. The only bad thing that has happened to us lately was that big hole in the world economy that Dubbya managed to poke, which your new President is trying his best to mend.

Our Liberals and our Conservatives are currently joined in government, with the Christian Democrats and the Centre party. In opposition are Environmentalists, Socialists and Communists. Every party is joined in wishing to keep the Racist* party out of it all. See, stupid, there are many more facets to politics than just liberalism and conservatism.

*It doesn't want to call itself that, but actions speak louder than words, as usual...

Homosexuality was legalised here in the UK in 1967.

Civil Partnerships became legal here several years ago. It's now 26th August, 2011.

... nope. None of the houses down the street where I live have crumbled. They're all still up, still intact. As is the town around me. As is the country around me. As is the planet around me.

Even the emergent LGBT culture has affected my lifestyle exactly this much:
