Y'know, you don't have to like the guy, but for fuck's sake he's still human. There's really no other reason to dislike him other than his politics, but you just can't get over the fact that he doesn't think the same way you do and you're acting like spoiled children at the prospect that the majority of Americans votrd for him.

I am no fan of Palin's for the same reasons as GodsChild actually is a fan of hers.
That said, I can come up with several reasons -- some more sarcastic than others -- why she left office. Somehow I doubt that the impending apocalypse was a factor in her decision.

Sarah Palin is a failure, a quitter and a loser. All she's done is play into the hands of men who think that a woman can't handle a position of power, that a female politician can't balance career and family, that women are just weaklings who give up when the going gets tough. She's made it that much harder for every other woman in this country to be respected by men. If I didn't despise her before, I surely would now. And she is the one who has brought all the negative attention to her family and her children by her own behavior. Stop boo-hooing over a loser and move on with your pathetic lives.
