Having disregarded logic, reason, honesty and integrity as deceptions created by race or class or sex, the only thing left as a grounds for accepting or denying a proposition is one’s personal faith in the anonymous pundit making the proposition. The modern Left simply take everything on authority. Unlike a Catholic, who takes authoritative pronouncements of authorities on authority, the modern Left accepts the word of random and anonymous strangers in the press or in the scientific community, or take the word of pundits who claim to speak on their behalf. It is a crowd sourced magisterium.

The Church's authority derives from its possession of the "great body" of knowledge given it exclusively by God. As interpreted by thousands of lesser authorities who differ from each other and many of whom were and are horrifically corrupt and evil.
The scientific community's authority derives from the fact that scientists constantly challenge and test ideas to verify them and to grow knowledge based on evidence. Science is open to examination and verification by anyone.
To the extent that the Right or the Left rejects science in favor of the "authority" of "because I said so" holy men or hucksters, it is devoid of "logic, reason, honesty and integrity."
Having discarded logic, reason, honesty and integrity, and lacking any marketable skills, Our Hero becomes a man of the cloth, and argues from false authority for both ego and profit.
Reptile.

As opposed to the modern Christian, who accepts the word of random and anonymous authors who've cobbled together incoherent, frequently contradictory versions of their mythology and demonstrably false accounts of history and claims about reality, or take the word of self-professed prophets and apologists who claim to be able to explain away these inconsistencies not only between the myth and the world but even within the myth, itself. It's a mass delusion.

But on who's authority did they decide which authorities were authorized to make authoritative pronouncements?
authoritative pronouncements of authorities on authority
Thou shalt confess thy redundancy sins, that the Language God may deem thy soul worthy.
Then again if Wright wanted to renounce redundancy he'd burn all his books as no worthier than his grocery list, so there.
"The modern Left simply take everything on authority."

Y'know, for a non existent thing, when just after a rain shower and the sun comes out can certainly be seen .
On whose authority can we see that? Your 'God'? (*BZZZZZZT! *) Sorry, wrong answer, as not only can such be explained easily, but it can be replicated .
Thus logically, reasonally, and no honest authority with integrity required, therefore Rainbows alone completely destroy the proposition of the 'Spiritual'/'Supernatural', as something non-existent that can be seen trumps your 'God', otherwise he'd be able to do this:

As opposed to the right, which never takes the word of random and anonymous people at face value, and doesn't spread urban legends around as fact. Like, you know, the one about aborted fetuses being used to flavor Pepsi. Or spreading conspiracy theories around as fact, such as the ones about the NWO and Sandy Hook. And don't get me started on how they take the bible as being absolute authority on everything, even though they've never read it.
