I'm not gay, and I have used that term to refer to people with children, married or not.
I don't want kids, they're too much work, I just like to poke a little gentle fun at friends who have had them.

Satan and God do not exist. You're an adult, you might as well act like one. For example, don't believe in fairytales. Do you realise how utterly silly it makes you look when you talk about fantasy as if it was reality? Do you believe in Santa and Tinkerbell as well?
God, I'm beginning to hate humanity. Why do two consenting adults need the permission of the populace to do something that only affects themselves? Whether gays can marry does not affect anybody but the gays that decide to marry, so it shouldn't matter if anyone approves of it or not. If you don't like it, don't go to the wedding (not that you would likely be invited anyway). I just don't get it.
And this "marriage is a sacred institution" BS needs to go. It's a secular institution if it defined by law. Religious organizations are still free not to recognize or perform ceremonies if they so wish, regardless of whether the state recognizes the union or not.

Your biblical references go in one ear and out the other and I just don't see the problem with letting 2 people who love each other and are dedicated to each other get married. God ordained: OK...how about all those "arranged" marriages for issue to solidify a political pact? How about that encampment that forced young girls (and I'm talking young) to marry older men and I'm thinking old-enough-to-be-your- grandfather or even great-grandfather? According to these folks they are Christian and the marriages are God ordained. You can have it and your bigoted, asinine, ignorant, loutish thinking. They want their marriages recognized by the state. They don't give a rat's ass whether your cult approves of them or not. And I still want to see the reference to God ordaining the institution. Hell, Christianity wasn't at all involved in marriage till the Middle Ages, when the church realized there was money to be made from it.

Um, yeah. My wife and I divide chores on a "who can do it best" basis, and fight each other for the makeup mirror every morning. There was no "traditional church wedding"--we had a cocktail party where a Pagan handfasting broke out. And children as accoutrements? Really? Some of us don't want them, but those who do want kids because they want to share their love with someone else. Your lack of love is your problem--no need to make it ours.
