[in response to why China and Japan, not being "Christian nations," still have "Christian laws and morals" like the U.S.]
Morality originated from the God of the Bible regardless if nations acknowledge that fact - or not due to rebellion or ignorance.
God is saving China for the bloodbath mentioned in Revelation.

Um...morals are based on our conscience, it has nothing to do with the christian god or any other god. And if you think China has laws like the US, then you are very, very confused about alot of things.
Oh...
Great green globs of greasy grimy gopher guts, mutilated monkey meat, dirty little birdies’ feet, French fried eye balls floating in a bath of blood and I forgot my spoon
Funny, it was the Soviet Union predicted to get it in the neck when I was small.
Wot happened? Was your God just screwing around with those prophecies?
Gee, it's almost like you don't need Christianity to have morals.
In fact, it's EXACTLY like that.
Hmm.
So if God gave morals to the Chinese and Japanese, even though they're ignorant of Jesus, why doesn't the same apply to atheists? What do we need Christianity for?
Yet another moron who makes up his own theology without thinking.
Uh ... huh. ...
<backs away slowly>
Considering that China and Japan were both isolated from European laws and religions for centuries and still managed to come up with the same basic morals -- no killing, no stealing, etc. -- I'd wager that Christianity has absolutely nothing to do with it.
While the Europeans were painting themselves blue, while the Hebrews were still the illiterate slaves of the Babylonians, while the Egyptians still had the first pyramid as a design proposal, the Chinese had a universal writing system, paper, a postal system as good as our own, and books which laid down what are the basic rules of civilisation and morality today.
This rag you call a bible, was concocted by a bunch of ancient goat sodomisers some 2000 years later, and its "morality" consists of commiting horrific deeds in order to please some fucking god.
I so hate those "God is the source of all morality" Fundies. Read your own bible, which you say that it's god's word.
Genesis 3:22, right after A and E ate from the apple tree.
And the LORD God said: 'Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil; and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever.'
To know good and evil! The gods know good and evil, but they are not the source of either.
Ah, ah, ah!
I beleive that you are wrong good sir, japan is already killing you inside!
Domo-Kun is this years halloween mascot after all.
Morality originates in our shared human nature, you idiot. We don't want to be killed, injured, kidnapped or have our possessions stolen or destroyed, and we agree to protect ourselves and each other from these threats. Your pathetic and obscene god has nothing to do with it.
Now please show me the verse in Relevation where China is mentioned BY NAME or admit you're a lying turd.
"God is saving China for the bloodbath mentioned in Revelation."
The People's Liberation Army of China would like a word with you. Theirs is the largest regular ground force on the planet (2,250,000 active, 800,000 reserves; all commanded by Hu Jintao). They have Iron Chariots - the Type 99 tank, for example. PRC is also a nuclear power.
Your call.
I'm thinking that if worshiping some being were required, I would MUCH rather worship Lloth than this guy.
You D&D geeks/RA Salvatore fans will know what's up with Her.
Morality is the thing that makes it possible for people to live in groups. Animals have their own morality as well. Somebody breaking the rules is outcast from the tribe or the herd, and must face a dangerous world all alone.
This has been true for probably a million years before man ever thought up a religion, which was probably another half-million years before your god came along. You're merely one of the newer versions of crazy, but no smarter than the others.
Confused?
