I feel sorry for Sen. Kennedy. As Tio-Peregrino put it Ted Kennedy is probably in great danger of going to hell whenever he dies. It's not likely that someone with his beliefs will repent and accept Jesus Christ at his age. Of course it's not impossible.

Kennedy is a Catholic. He's been baptized, and when he reached the age of accountability, he underwent confirmation in which he confessed his faith in Jesus Christ. He therefore satisfies both conditions of Mark 16:16: "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved ..."

Ted's a Catholic you twit. Believe it or not it's possible to have empathy for other people and be Christian at the same time. He's probably just one of those people who acknoledges that Jesus was a liberal and follows in his footsteps. That or he was just raised Catholic and it's not really important to him except to say he's religious for elections. Sure he may be in a hurry to return to his hotel room after a swim, but who doesn't have flaws?

As a Catholic, I worship neither the Pope nor Mary. I do, however, listen to the Pope's opinion... and I don't consider him the Antichrist :)
Ted Kennedy's done more for your country than all you neocon fundy cunts could ever do in your collective lifetimes. And it's that legacy that'll ensure his name will be remembered in centuries to come. Long after Ruptured Retards isn't even a footnote in history. Why would historians, scholars & academics want to remember a sad little forum of nobodies who believed in not only a sad little fairytale, but a delusion of a completely unconnected future 'event' that would never happen?
His name will be remembered alongside those of not only his illustrious older brother John Fitzgerald Kennedy (and one of the finest presidents your country'll ever have), but M.K. Gandhi, Willy Brandt, Martin Luther King, Jimmy Carter, and Nelson Mandela. If there is a heaven, he's there, along with them (or will be). After all, remember the Sermon on the Mount, and his Beatitudes?:

His work in Northern Ireland was instrumental to the Troubles coming to an end. Certainly what he did to advance the cause of civil rights and equality in the US. (thus I was glad he lived to see Barack Obama elected and enter the White House). What he did to change your country for the better is the best memorial he could ever have.
