I know what your saying, and most of those Old time Assemblians were good folks, makes you wonder why the twist. Here we had a Christian school teacher (in a Christian school), her and her husband were sold on Bill Clinton, voted for him twice. All of their children are a wreck on society, they are in church every Sunday and Wednesday. When I found out they were voting for Clinton I pulled my boys out of the school and started Homeschooling.

Got a flat tire? It's Clinton's fault.
Rambunctious children? Clinton.
Overslept? Clinton turned off your alarm.
Dog ran off? Must have been Clinton who opened the gate.
Shitty job? Clinton.
Bad marriage? Clinton.
This is the way these nuts think. I was never THAT much of a fan of the cat, but damn...they must think really highly of him to give him all this imagined power. [/sarcasm]
The eternal, omnipotent God is a member of the current US Republican party?
I'm confident I'm not the only person who's seen the bumper sticker "God is not spelled G-O-P"
So...a teacher's personal political opinions (Which are not taught in the classroom, by the way, regardless of what the fundies keep screaming about. I know this for a fact, seeing as how I am a 30 year teaching veteran who has taught all over the country from rabid-liberal San Francisco to scary-conservative Red Bud, Illinois.) are a direct indicator of their worth and skill as an instructor?
That's idiotic.
One of the best teachers I ever had was my philosophy prof at University, who was (and I presume still is) a card carrying member of the Conservative Party (UK). We used to argue and fight like cats and dogs, but I leanrned a lot from the man because I didn't despise him because of a difference in political opinion.
By the logic of this post, a liberal would automaticaly be unqualified for any job: garbage man, street sweeper, doctor, lawyer, dog cather, or Senator, simply because they are a liberal. So much for "compassionate conservatism," eh?
(And as a side note, does anyone else find it odd that the conservative movement in the United States had to add the world "compassionate" to their description themselves? It's like how Boy George had to stick "Boy" on the front of his name just so you would know what is otherwise totally non-obvious. What does that say about them?)
Today's Scripture reading is from the Book of Tard: "Thou shalt not vote for Clinton. If any one among you voteth for Clinton, ye shall stone him with stones, that he die."
What do you mean, the Book of Tard isn't canonical, and the real Bible says no such thing?
Also, what Laurel said.
Wrong word, missed hyphenation, bad grammar. Unrelated factors with bad grammar. Vague claim, contradictory claim with bad grammar. Politically-biased idiocy with unnecessary capitalization and missing a comma.

Yes, I can already see how successful your offspring's education will be. *insert eyeroll here*
