I mean, I know Statesfolk in particular are more shocked by anything related to sex than bloody carnage, but what about the rest of the world?

I would like to go on record of saying I am against sexism towards eather gender and I find the statement "men are pigs" offensive.

Apropos of nothing much. I was once in a resturaunt when a woman in the corner began to breast feed her baby. After a couple of minutes, she suddenly started to shout at a guy sitting at the next table.
So the Intelligent Designer intelligently designed our bodies so that some parts would be dirty, offensive, and sin-provoking. Either that, or Eve suddenly sprouted breasts right after the Fall.
Breastfeeding is one of the most natural things in the world. It is almost (in a humanistic sense) a holy thing. There is nothing erotic or sexual about it. Even baby Jesus sucked on his mother's breast. As the Christmas carol has it:

So the problem is yours. It it not one that is general. No decent, normal man is turned on by a breast feeding woman. Only a pervert.
As to: "...she should of covered up." it should read "She should HAVE covered up. Devote a little time to learning English and you won't have time to worry about breastfeeding. BTW, did you know that some absolutely normal men produce breast milk and can feed babies...all perfectly natural. Medical fact. I suppose that would turn you on as well!

I don't think so. Certainly it is not so in any of the parts of Europe I have lived in. My theory is that in some regions of America the general population, with exceptions, of course, seem from here to suffer from religious dementia.

I see Thezion and xander both would have had one hell of a time with my family when the twins were born. My wife went all National Geographic. I'm not sure she wore a shirt for the twin's first year.

As much as I personally think it best to cover the baby with a blanket due to the fact that, really, no one wants to see that... you're a nasty idiot. If someone really wants to go uncovered, than so be it. Have the class to shut the fuck up.
I really wish nursing women would cover up too, but you know, if she doesn't, the world isn't going to end.

Of course, the truth is that men are not pigs and are completely capable of acting rational and restraining themselves. It's only when their self-hating mothers teach them that it's the women's responsibility to keep male sexual urges under control that they get all effed up.
In Brazil, women breastfeed all the freaking time. Actually there is Tv ads showing women breastfeeding... Nobody cares. Really, noboby. Women that don´t breastfeed are looked down on as less competent mothers. Not very fair, too.
That's like people complaining of a couple looking at eachother, holding hands and/or kissing. They're not prey like field mice constantly hiding from foxes. They can be fully absorbed by the other person and forget the world around them, in a public environment expected and perceived to be safe, among mostly civilized people. Where it's even possible out of empathy to expect random protectors in the case of a misbehaving threatening individual. How is it different for a woman absorbed in her love for her child, who naturally knows what to do to reconcile the infant's hunger and at the same time make them feel safe and warm? The baby sure knows what to do, too. That's just nature and you're the one who has been conditioning to see evil in it, who appears to be alienating from it. And it's the same thing with rape culture and victim blaming. When other people can behave if they see something beautiful, why can't you? Even a Bible verse says that your own eye is the problem, if you can't make it not offend you.
