There is not a single scientific fact which is against the Quran.
Ahem...
21:33: "And He it is Who created the night and the day, and the sun and the moon. They float, each in an orbit. " - So, the sun is going round in an orbit, is it?
35:13: "he merges Day into Night, and he has subjected the sun and the moon (to his Law): each one runs its course for a term appointed." - yup, sun's defnitely on the move.
67:5 "We have adorned the skies nearest to the earth with lights, and We have made such lamps as missiles to drive away the Evil Ones." - Stars are missiles now?
The list goes on...
Ah, an ignorant Muslim. Suppose you learn Arabic, and read the thing for yourself.
(Unless you are an Arab, of course, in which case you've no excuse).
The Q'ran, (like the bible) was writen by ignorant people during an ignorant time.
There are a few (very few) medical facts repeated in the Q'ran, But these were already common knowlege long before Mohameds time.
The rest is just typical religious rubbish.
Hyptheses and theories may go against Quran but fact cant.I can give more facts also.
Not interested in hearing the bullshit you call "facts" because facts doesn't mean what you think it does or so it seems.
I think I have the right to answer here, as a former Muslim (and extremely happy about it.)
Finding mentions of scientific advances in Quran is a favorite pastime of fundie nutjobs around here (Turkey). The reason for this is the extremely cryptic language Quran tends to use. Believe me, compared to it, Bible is as open and to the point as a military report given in the heat of battle.
We usually get them to shut up by thi simple request:
Find one answer to a question science is doing research on n Quran, before the science does. In other words, spearhead a scientific advance through knowledge gleaned through the Quran. True science.
After this, they tend to disappear into the woodwork.
THE QUR'AN SAYS:
God spunked the universe into being.
SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE POINTS TO:
There is no evidence of a divine penis ever having existed.

While the stars being missiles is odd, the sun does in fact have an orbit...Around the center of our galaxy.
Not to say the Qur'an in infallible, just saying your specific example is not one where it is technically wrong.
"There is not a single scientific fact which is against the Quran"
Cool, you'll have no problem producing a talking ant for me then. Preferably one that knows next week's lottery numbers.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
