Just because a majority thinks something is true does not make it true, asshat. The majority of Germans thought Hitler was right, back in the 1930's. That didn't make his horseshit true.

approximate, that's not totally true. The average German of the just wanted someone who could get the country out of the toilet the aftermath of WW1 had put them in. Hitler accomplished that, at the very least. The majority of German citizens were not members of the Nazi party.
Well, in Central and South America there are like 30 different religions between Catholicism, pre-hispanic religions, and protestant sects. And the percentage of atheist is higher there, so?

In the 2008 election, only the black vote was a bigger minority than atheists, and not by much. I'd cite my source, but I saw it on Stumbleupon a while back, can't find it.
