[Science, far from validating the Flood myth, disproves it absolutely. It actually PROVES that the flood didn't happen.]

Okay, I'll admit, that does leave me a bit stumped. But it *still* doesn't prove the flood, the existence of your god, or the validity of the Babble.
30 days is NOT long enough for a significant number of sea creatures to go into flood waters and then be fossilized.
30 years wouldn't even be long enough.
There are sea fossils because it used to be the Tethys Sea before it closed up.

We did! A very long time ago!
Those deserts were once the bottom of the sea and due to plate tectonics, it is now inland. Basic knowledge unless your only text book is the babble.
This makes it easy to prove if the flood happened.
According to the bible the waters dried up after a year. Therefore, sedentary fossils found in the desert should show that they all died at less than a year of age. Mollusk shells have rings that can easily be counted.
When's the next fundie expedition?

And sand, too. How'd the sand get there? Hint: quartz is one of the hardest common minerals. After rocks have been beaten by the ocean for a few tens of millions of years, only the quartz is left. If there had been a huge flood, we'd find all sorts of things jumbled together.
Metamoprphic rocks show that there have been forces such as heat and pressure acting on them in the past, as often happens in mountain-building events. These will also uplift sedimentary layers containing marine fossils.
Limestone is formed from marine deposits, but karst landsapes (such as northern Kentucky and Indiana) are often found inland for this very reason.
I learned why this is so in, like, first grade. Not in class either, personal research. That really says everything about the difference between Echoes and me that anyone would need to know.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
