On the contrary, it is UNFORTUNATE that we do not live in theocracy under God. It would not be anything like the Middle East because Allah is not God.

Oh, yes he is. Just like Dieu is God, and Dio is God, and Dios is God, and Gott is God, and Gud is God.
[Edit, for Greek and Sinhalese letters didn't work here.]
It's simply different languages for basically the same thing.
Why don't you study up on Medieval Europe. We did live in a theocracy under God then, and oh my word, did the death-rate increase and augment.
Prepare to meet your "maker" a leettle bit sooner than you'd counted on, disq-disq.
It would be exactly like everything we've seen in the Middle East: Gays and atheists sent to reeducation camps (if they aren't executed directly), science like the Big Bang and Evolution would be banned in school, offensive literature burned, mandatory marriages with premarital sex severely punished. Public displays of Christian thought and expression would be routine or even mandated. Jews would have to convert or be deported to Israel. The annexing of "heathen" countries and the taking of their resources, backed by the vast might of the US military. Husbands would be allowed to abuse their wives, maybe even have multiple wives.
So which version of Christianity do you want? Are you ok with Catholicism, or JWs, or LDS...
How about Lutheran, or Baptists, or...Assembly of God?
The Methodists may disagree with your choice you know.
Very good, jehash. Tell that to the next Christian Lebanese whom you meet, they greet each other with Allahmaak = may God be with you.
They had theocracies in Mediaeval Europe, as well as the Massachusetts Bay Colony. Get ready for burnings, whippings, brandings and hangings. Not to mention that theocratic, neo-puritan tendency to think they have the God-given right to perv through other peoples' bedroom windows...and don't forget the witch-hunts.
Christian theocracy is great.
Did you know that Vatican City has the highest consumption of wine per capita? 54.26 liters per year per resident!
The country also has the highest crime rates, with 1.5 crimes per resident each year!
Obviously, theocracy is the way to go, if you want to be a drunken criminal.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
