John: I live near Dearborn, Michigan (Mecca to you Arabs) and I don't read or hear about any gays trying to get cakes baked from the Muslims.
Come to think of it...I don't read or hear anything about the gays after they have attempted doing that.
Frank M: Moslems have a different way of dealing with gays. Homosexuals will wish this were still a Christian country once the moslems take over.

The teeny tiny "gay cake" manufactured outrage is a good way to distract from the utter failure of the republicans to help create jobs or safeguard the environment in which we all live. Wake up, GOP sheep, and stop letting the Koch brothers wave this gay cake banner in front of your eyes so you can't see what else they are up to.
While I agree that, in any Muslim country, gays will have it much much worse than here, this is wrong for two reasons:
1. The Muslims won't be taking over any time soon. And if it they did gain the numbers to do that, Americans would collectively wake up and start to do something about it.
2. Maybe gays could instead wish for what they have always wanted: a country where they are treated like people with human rights? I have yet to encounter any gay person, in real life or online, who wishes America were a Muslim country. Contrary to what the Dominionists teach you, there are options other than Christian theocracy, Muslim theocracy, and Stalinist communism.

I don't hear about Christians going to muslim bakers either, or jewish, or hindu, or sikh, or buddhist, or atheist, etc etc.
Here is the thing, you can't tell the religion of the average baker or florist by looking at the store. Its not the same think as going to a Kosher Deli. When people go into the average bakery or florist they expect the average service, the average treatment. They don't expect to be turned away.
There is no difference between a "Christian" Bakery and a non christian one so no one should expect different service.
In which case, using your rationale, you should stop your whining about Christian persecution in the USA, because, as even the most eager fundie must surely admit that there is no comparison between how atheists treat Christians in the west to the persecution many Christians are facing in Muslim dominant countries in the Middle-East. Though, I suspect that they'd try and excuse it with delusions about how spiritual death is worse than physical death.
Are there Muslim bakeries? What do they specialize in? Baclava? Turkish Delight?
Would a "Christian" bakery refuse to make Devil's Food cake?
You know, this silliness really has to stop. It's embarrassing.
Confused?
