If something is known to be false, then you know it not to be true and there is no longer any doubt.

Pretty messed up, and ignorant. When I went to college in the 80s, I was astounded to find out how many people who had graduated high school and didn't have the first clue as to how to form a sentence. (I used to type up papers for my beer money, and saw some pretty whacked 'essays'. Not only that, I saw those same essays get a passing grade!)

You are doubting evolution or the Big Bang theory because of no proof, but you think the bible, which is filled with allegory, and has to be taken on faith, has proof?
BTW, how can an "edited for content" by order of King James because the Pope wouldn't allow him to divorce his wife, so he had things added and removed to suit his whims, be accurate?
One, doubt doesn't means that you're not sure if something is one way or the other. If you say that you doubt and your reason for doing so is a categorical afirmation, it's a total non-sequitur.

There's a ton of proof for evolution but you have to have enough science education to understand it, which requires more effort than a lot of people are willing to make for something they've already decided in advance they disagree with. There's proof for some of the Bible's historical material (e.g., Kings), but there's no proof for stuff like Genesis.

I just love this. He "doubts" it. Doubt implies there is a possiblity that it is true, but he "doubts" it because it is false, that is, known to be not true. It's this kind of deep thinking that goes into conclusions such as the Bible being 100% accurate.
