I sometimes take an Uber shared ride to certain places when I have no other means. Since my knee surgery I still can’t walk far, and I have appointments I need to keep. So whenever possible, I take an Uber, and when I leave the car, I give the driver a Gospel tract.
Uber rates both drivers and riders. You start off with a 5 star rating, then as you drive people around or use the service for rides, you’re rated by other drivers/riders. I was at a steady 4.90, but now my rating went down to 4.86. I don’t know for sure, but it might be because most people don’t like to hear the truth, or just don’t want to be bothered, or don’t like me giving them something they don’t want. Well, whatever, I’m still going to hand out tracts because 1. Nobody else does it, 2. I care about their souls, and 3. There is a real burning Hell that awaits them if they’re not born again by the blood of Jesus. It’ll be too late for them if they refuse the Gospel and wind up in a tragic accident.
5 stars or 1 star, it doesn’t matter to me, as long as I do what God tells me to do. I want to serve Him alone, and rest assure that I did my job.
