For a man to take on more than one woman, either as a wife or as a secret encounter, escapes me.

One woman is enough for any man to deal with considering all of the psychotic "needs" every woman comes up with. Just think about how every woman does not even know what she wants in life, because they always are changing their minds about it. They change with the social climate, fashion trends, whether or not the feminists are screaming about something, whether or not Oprah is babbling about anything that week, with the advertising being so well aimed at them for products and services, with whatever anyone is telling them they "deserve" or are "worth," and with whatever their personal hormones are doing.
