Well, I would say that this contradicts the teachings of Jesus, except, to be honest, there are so many contradictions as there are, it is IMPOSSIBLE to contradict the bible. Whatever you say, good or bad, you can find something in the bible to back it up.

Fundies make up their beliefs out of thin air first, then claim God approves. Actually, the Bible says nothing about abortion, and places homosexuality on par with cursing your parents and short-changing the collection plate - far better than more serious offenses like working on the Sabbath or making fun of the bald. It doesn't say much about atheism, either, although worshiping other Gods - especially Molech - is a no-no of the worst kind.
I've always wondered--does God saying 'you shall have no other God but me'...doesn't that sort of tacitly imply that there -are- other gods? Just that Yahweh doesn't want folk running around and worshipping -them-.
On topic: Freak, you're just warped in the head. Even if the Bible does contradict itself (and oh does it ever), you're still doing the direct opposite of what your own Messiah says to do.

Give the guy some credit; this is the first time I've ever seen a fundie successfully answer a hypothetical question, rather than giving a disallowed answer or just refusing to even try. Granted, it's the answer you might expect of a total douchenozzle, but at least it's actually valid and within the boundaries of the question. That said, it is a rather underdefined question.
Technically, wouldn't a sodomite just be anyone who's done someone else up the exhaust port? That'd probably include an awful lot of non-gays, including most likely some Christians, to which I assume he was referring.
Also, I love the word "athiest." I think it's a good slogan for the Athi River tourism board. "Athi River: it's the Athiest!"
No, I wouldn't they are there for a reason, God and God alone is their judger, the author and finisher of their book. I pray God have mercy on them, and I also pray that "Christians" REAL Christians get out there and do what God called them to. Spread the gospel, because everyone deserves a chance to go to Heaven. Jesus died for a mulitude of sins, his blood and his alone can cover them. A lot more people need to know this.
If I was religious, I would think higher of ex-atheists than "childhood faith"-Christians, since the ex-atheists have "seen the light" or something, unlike the brain-washed children.
