[Part of a letter sent to Pope Benedict]
I also request that you send a directive to all Catholic Churches in The United States requiring that the priests in all Churches announce God's request that children ask their parents to buy them no Christmas presents this year, but to take them to church on Christmas Day so they can pray that their parents not betray them to Obama, and that they not be sold into inhuman bondage to the homosexuals.

... "inhuman bondage to the homosexuals"? Seriously?
Look, Mr Polley, I fully support you doing whatever you want sexually as long as all parties involved are fully consenting. But children who aren't old enough to consent to sexual things really shouldn't be exposed to anyone's sexual fantasies, including yours.
"So, Billy, what do you want for Christmas this year?"
"To not be sold into slavery to the gays, Daddy."
Gerald, please seek professional help.
American children will be sold into "inhuman bondage" to the homosexuals?
So wait...my daughter is gay...does that mean she doesnt get sold to the gays, and that only me, her mother and brother get sold to her? Or do we get sold to some other gay person while she buys other straight people? She doesnt have much money, do you have any idea what the going proce for hetero slaves will be? What if she refuses to buy hetero slaves?
If you could clear this up, it would be much appreciated. Until then, I will live my life as if what you just said isnt important at all...not even a little bit.
You want children to stop being "sold into inhuman bondage to the homosexuals", and you're asking the pope for help?
Good luck with that, because you're gonna need it.
Yeah, I'm sure that would be greeted with great sighs of relief and cheering by the kids.
Don't understand that children are too young to understand this kind of crap do you Gerry?
...and that they not be sold into inhuman bondage to the homosexuals.
Oh, the irony.
Taking children to priests to pray that they not be prey to homosexual pedophiles.
How fucking clueless can you get.
I am going to paraphrase somebody (I can't remember if it was Robert Ingersoll or Bertrand Russell who said this) which goes something like this:
The only difference between a prophet and a madman is that others actually believe the prophet.
I'm with GigaGuess. I hate to break it to you, but your kids just aren't that important. Keep 'em to yourself.
Why do homophobic nuts think the gays want their children? I mean, really. I'm attracted to men --big, manly dudes with hairy barrel chests and nice, thick...err, what was I saying?
I repeat. We gay peeps do not want to purchase your spawn. You should probably worry more about things and people which are actual threats.
I wouldn't mind having a family one day. Not sure if I'll go the adoption route, the medical intervention route, or just be the auntie to the children of friends and family. I certainly will not be purchasing other people's kids on the black market though. That's just creepy and I'm offended that anyone thought to make the accusation. There's something wrong with anyone who can even /think/ of this shit.
I just read the whole thing, and all I have to say is "what". The first part is lame attempt to hawk publishing rights for a book written by the author of the letter. He might as well have requested that the pope sends him a free pony.
The whole site is a goldmine
Poor Polley.
He's clearly _very_ mad.
If I were a Christian, I'd pray for him to get the medical help he needs.
As I'm not, I'll settle for hoping he gets it.
@shykid
I'll be in my bunk.
ask their parents to buy them no Christmas presents this year, but to take them to church on Christmas Day so they can pray that their parents not betray them to Obama
BESTEST CHRISTMAS EVAR!!!
Soooo, if the parents are taking them to church like Polley says, why do they have to pray for protection from those same parents?
What if the kids want to practice inhuman gay bondage when they grow up?
Ridiculous and infantile.
Is Polley a Catholic? If not he should butt out of it.
Polley, you come across as a blithering idiot. Try to do something about that. Get help, or leave the priesthood and come out of the closet altogether - already! Whatever it takes to make you sensible.
@shykid

We'll be in my bunk.

@shykid
Room for one more?
@Mr. Yellow
Works for me. :p
O_O Full bunk. I think you guys should rent a queen-size or something.
In other news...yeah, what? You want to terrify these kids--"By the way, kids, in addition to the monsters under the bed and the serial killers roaming the landscape, please be aware that the parents upon whom you depend for food and protection and nurture may at any time, unless you convince God to stay their hands, betray you most foully into unspecified horror or slavery."
Leave aside Obama and the gay people, even though I'm sure they're the point, just...don't make kids afraid of their parents. There are enough who have real things to fear as it is. American parents almost never sell their children. Seriously.
It amuses me that the same page involves a rant about Rush Limbaugh not being allowed to buy into an NFL team. Really tells you where these people are coming from, that this loon would support a man who would clearly be bad for business and who a good number of players stated outright that they'd refuse to play for.
Confused?
