It's just that it's 'fake news' as defined in The Donald J. Trump Dictionary:
Fake news - Anything critical of Donald J. Trump.
They are willing to believe that entire countries, from the government to the citizens on social media co-operating at an unprecedented level, are engaging in mass deception to cover up violence and death on a grand scale. For no discernible reason. A reverse of the usual false flag conspiracies floating around like so many turds in the pool.
All because a pathological liar who will literally tell you it's sunny as the rain pours down on his hideous hair made a completely misinformed offhand remark he will now fight to the death to defend when the country is coming apart at the seams around him.
I notice that Trump is declaring war over an extremely ineffectual attack.
Also, what about all the people who debunk him on Twitter?
DT doesn't care how the mainstream media reacts to his inaccurate statements, everything he says is for those who watch fox, or infowars, or any of that rubbish. That's where most of his supporters get their "news". They don't, or won't, watch what they consider the establishment media. Unfortunately, it would seem that a large proportion of DT supporters are too blind to realize this man seems incapable of telling the truth & will gladly accept any pig fodder thrown down their throats from him.
You know, it's actually quite disturbing that there are actual people out there who worship Trump soooo much that they think anything he says, no matter how incorrect, must be true. And that anything that disagrees with him, no matter how factual, must be fake.
And like creativerealms said, the worst thing is that they're all applauding Trump as he takes away free speech & press one by one until the US turns into his own personal dictatorship.
So in the cartoon above, we can see that Lord Dampnut's bullshit cannon is much larger than that of the news media, and that he's willing to fire it at with virtually no real provocation. A good cartoon.
Gen. Mattis has stated that he has no problem with mainstream media.

Finally! Even though I know it means nothing, I like seeing someone else refer to him as President Evil. These insipid little "comics" are just another tool used by greedy, slightly smarter assholes to control the lesser majini.

Trump was once called a "short fingered-vulgarian" by a magazine editor. When he caught wind of it he began periodically sending envelopes containing pictures of his hands and notes written in gold sharpie.
This continued for 30 years.
It'll appeal to his crowd. After all he has said: don't listen to the news, I'll tell you what you need to know, through rallies and Twitter.
