If justice, good, evil do not truly exist, then what are we arguing about?
Yes, God did use His people to kill sometimes. When it was not in self defense (which it was much of the time) the Israelites were His arm of justice for the ultimate crime - denying God Himself.
Under the new covenant, God has different plans for His people, to love one another and forgive since Jesus paid the penalty for sin that was once doled out by Israel as well as God - death. Kinda makes me feel privileged in comparison to OT times.
