I am not saying that every decision is made emotionally but ALL women make emotional-based decisions. Why? Because that is the way God made us.
Men and women lead differently...because God made us that way. Our leadership abilities are meant to be used in running a household, rearing children and teaching children and other ladies. We use both sides of the brain causing us to be better able to handle multi-tasking - which is required of a wife, mom, and teacher. Men are more analytical. They use only the one side of the brain causing them to focus on the task as hand. They are stronger and made to lead the family, churches, corporations and countries.

Fact one, both men and women use BOTH sides of the brain and the use of one side or the other is more connected with our spatial or analytical capacity that both men and women have. In other words, we are more inclined to arts or sciences, not to households or politics, as you point out. Second, your theory fails in one very simple point. Organising a household is not radically different from organising a corporation or a country. In fact, if emotions affect one thing, affect the other.
Maybe if Mrs. Debbie left the house now and then, she'd notice that both men and women can excel at a wide range of jobs. Of course, her delicate female brain might explode upon exposure to such heathenism.
And what is wrong with making emotional decisions? Every great achievement of the human race has come about thanks to passion, desire, hope, anger, love. Name one that did not.
Secondly, men and women both use both sides of our brains. Even people with a preference of more artistic or more analytical thinking use both sides of the brain. That is scientifically proven. Look at any MRI as proof.
As a female not-fundie Christian, this kind of thinking really gets my goat.
Look, Debbie. If we were REALLY only created to fulfill the task of housewife and walking incubator, then we would be incapable of fulfilling anything but those tasks. If that's all we were ever meant to do, what's the point in giving us a choice of doing something different? It's like putting wings on a giraffe or gills on a buffalo. But as the millions of working women out there can attest, we do a pretty darn good job as scientists, teachers, CEOs, astronauts and a million other things. If we were not meant to lead, we would not have been given free will. If God wanted us to be mindless baby-factories who smile all the time and say nothing but "Yes, dear" to our mates, then why would He have bothered giving us minds, hearts and souls?
We are no less and no more important than males, and we are no less and no more blessed--or cursed--with free will than men are. Therefore, we are no more tied to a single role in life than males are. You are limiting yourself and encouraging other women to do the same. You are burying the talents God gave you and encouraging others to do the same. I may not be the best Christian around, but I know darn well that God wants us to use the gifts we've been given, wherever those talents may lead us, and the Bible says it's a sin not to do so.
Aside from being physically stronger, which does not really matter in our technology-centric world, men are not stronger than women in any important way.
You and those who believe as you do that women are weaker, inferior, or set to live out some predetermined role are overlooking Biblical evidence of women who not only worked outside the home, but changed the course of the Christian faith.
I have said before and will say again that you are conforming to a Victorian standard of femininity, not a Christian one, and I greatly fear for the young women you are warping into this false sense of inferiority.
Wait, so multi-tasking is only required of a wife, mom and teacher? There aren't ANY other occupations out there that would benefit from having a woman capable of multi-tasking in charge??
So basically our multi-tasking abilities are meant only so we can cook, clean, and wipe up baby shit. Scientists, politicians, doctors, engineers...nah, none of them ever do any multi-tasking, thus those jobs are unsuitable for woman. In other words...WTF??
I'm sick of being called "emotional" because of my fucking chromosomes. I'm the least emotional person I know. And you're claiming women aren't "analytical"? For fuck's sake, one of my majors is in physics, and another in history. Those are nothing but analysis.
And seriously, if we're going to go there, who seems to make more emotional decisions, men or women? Hm? Which requires more prison space? The ones who constantly claim that they can't control their emotions and just had to harm someone else because of their sex? Pretty common defense among male defendants.
It's all a load of shit, but at least look at what's on the table before you make stupid statements.
First of all, men and women all use both sides of their brains.
Secondly, if women really are better at multi-tasking, then it only stands to reason they would be more successful in their careers then men.
And as a lawyer, I can tell you...I have met many intelligent and talented women who were members of the bar and bench. None of them were "held back" simply because of their gender.
The CrAP-Alert man rants about stuff with plenty of emotion. therefore, he is a woman and should be home helping his husband take care of the kids, and his husband should goto the movies and review 'em instead of him....

Another funny point is that the rape apologist, Bro. Randy, is always telling girls to cover up to stop men from being enticed into raping them. If that isn't saying that men make stupid, emotional decisions, what is?
News flash, moron. All MEN make emotional decisions!
Although I admire your ability to correct cite incorrect information spread by 'Christian' lie artists.
Mrs Debbie alludes to what I think is a valid point -- women and men, in general, tend to gender-specific strengths. Without organization (feminine, for the sake of the argument), energetic action (masculine) would involve a great deal of wasted effort.
The Athena-Ares duality serves to illustrate this, imo.
Mrs Debbie, it's a shame you can not assume your rightful place as a Partner. It may be said that a successful Partnership sustains a successful professional woman or man.
" We use both sides of the brain causing us to be better able to handle multi-tasking - which is required of a wife, mom, and teacher."
ROFLMAO. I fail *miserably* at multi-tasking - can't even listen to music when I'm at work. And yet somehow, I'm lacking a penis.
Confused?
