Oh, trust me, I can debate this with facts......

How is death worshipped by the left? Well first of all they're obseessed with digging up dead bones. They're obsessed with digging up dead monkey bones, dead dinosaur bones etc.

Another form of entertainment is exhuming graves and cemetaries. They love this stuff. They love stealing jewlery off dead corpses.

They're also obsessed with digging through skulls and analyzing corpses with picks and chisels.

They also love dead animals and theories that give glory to a dead, demoralizing past.

Genesis is also habitually scoffed at -- the beautiful story of life -- and they try to wiggle their way out of existence by insisting that we're all random accidents. In their mind they need to play like life didn't actually have a true beginning.

But of course it doesn't stop with the science.....

Have you noticed that the hollywood left is obsessd with making movies and documentarys about slaughter?...and how they have a morbid fascination of suffering? How they make so many movies about bloody war? And people dying? And AIDS? Have you noticed how they turn a blind eye to corrupt leaders who execute their own citizens?

Of course abortion (death to infants) is the sacrament of feminism and liberalism.

And the left is also obsessed with sticking up for people who murder people. -- they want THESE people to live, ironically. No death chamber for killers.

And have you noticed how they'd love to make suicide (death to self) legal?

Have you noticed how the notion of Jesus DEFEATING death makes them ill?

How is death worshipped by the fundies? Well first of all they're obseessed with the brutal and bloody death of their god. Another form of entertainment is bringing God's judgement down on groups they hate (gays, Muslims, etc). They're also obsessed with praising God's fury on men, women, and children while at the same time condeming death by others. They also love lowering the accomplishments of humanity by declaring that God alone can make good things, and we are nothing more than weak puppets. Evolution is also habitually scoffed at -- the beautiful story of life -- and they try to wiggle their way out of facts by insisting that we couldn't possibly be related to animals. In their mind they need to play like life didn't actually have a process. But of course it doesn't stop with the science..... Have you noticed that the religious right is obsessd with making Chick tracts and websites like godhatesfags?...and how they have a morbid fascination of the heathens' suffering? How they make so many sermons about bloody war and Armageddon? And rejoice when people of other religions are dying? And see AIDS as God's cure for sodomy? Have you noticed how they turn a blind eye to corrupt leaders who destroy liberty, invade countries without due cause, and support murderous regimes? Of course war (death to civilians) is the sacrament of fundies. And the fundies are also obsessed with sticking up for gods who murder people. -- they want to worship these gods of hellfire, ironically. Nothing but blind obedience for slaughterer of children. And have you noticed how they'd love to make their vigilantism (death to whoever opposes God's will) legal? Have you noticed how the notion of science DEFEATING death makes them ill?"

And really, is there any other kind of corpse? Dead's the only brand they come in. Who says we come from random accidents? If you're refering to evolution, there's nothing "random" about it. As for your daddy's squirt resulting in you - purely random, I'll give you that. While the Hollywood Left may be obsessed with making movies about war and people dying, the "Moral Majority" is all about it happening for real! Abortion...a sacrament? Apparently you don't know what the word sacrament means. Hey, I'm all for the death penalty personally, as long as there's no question as to the condemned persons guilt. The hard right could care less who they kill, innocents, children, women, elderly - kill 'em, as long as it's in the name of God or terrorism it's okay. Suicide is legal, what are the authorities going to do? Arrest you after you've jumped off a 50-story building? Here's a thought, try it and see what they do. Jesus defeats death? Huh? Are you speaking of the Resurrection? News Flash: Old boy's stil DEAD!

I think what we have here, in the first paragraphs, is a textbook case of someone who is simply terrified by the true nature of reality (understandable), and takes refuge in fairy stories rather than coming to terms with it (unimpressive).
The notion that this tiny ball of dirt is drifting through an expanse of mostly nothing at all, and what little there is out there doesn't give a toss whether you live or die (or probably even if our entire planet continues to exist or gets enveloped by the sun going nova, except maybe some alien working on an astronomy thesis somewhere a VERY long way away), is a damn sight harder to grapple with than choosing which deity to believe in. Add to that the fact that all evidence thus far gathered in a scientifically valid way suggests you don't go anywhere when you die, you just GO, and you've got a real recipe to separate the men from the boys! (Sorry, it's late and I can't think of a gender-neutral version of that last phrase that doesn't sound crap). Only two things are certain, death and taxes, as the saying goes. Given the nature of human society, you'd probably have more luck fighting death with science than taxes with just about any weapon. OK, I'm rambling now, time to go.

"...digging through skulls and analyzing corpses with picks and chisels." You don't analyze anything with picks and chisels, you take stuff to the lab for study. Hollywood makes violent movies because those movies are popular. Hollywood also makes comedies, romances, and cartoons. "The Passion of Christ" was a Hollywood movie celebrating the morbid fascination of suffering--have you condemned that? I am opposed to the death penalty because of the danger of making a mistake and executing an innocent person. The justice system is very far from foolproof. The only reason suicide is illegal is so police can take a suicide risk into protective custody. If you're talking about assisted suicide in the case of the terminally ill, I think such people should be allowed to die with dignity instead of lingering in pain or being kept alive by machines, if that is their choice. And if Jesus defeated death, why are people still dying? For someone who promised to debate with facts, you offered none whatsoever, just typical fundie bullshit.
