For a 'Religion of Peace' Islam is very fond of issuing death threats. Ask Salman Rushdie or the Danish cartoonist. Ditto beating, mutilating, stoning or beheading those who transgress its dark-age rules.
The reason Mohammed went from being an orphan to such a successful leader was his invention of Jihad, total war. He used money, the promise of salvation, sex, culture, religion, destiny, family, immigration, legal codes, government, deceit, racial pride, tribalism, community, fear, propaganda, diplomacy, robbery, torture, forced conversion, piracy, spy-craft, philosophy and psychology in his pursuit of power.
Mohammed killed countless people, torturing many of them. He'd be a hundred per cent behind the extremists.
