Homosexuality and similar sins are actually hate crimes against God. It is a mockery of God’s gift of life and his natural design.
This is why Christians are hated by these people, they feel it in their hearts that what they are doing is wrong and don’t want to be reminded of their guilt. They just want to do what they want without guilt.

So do you, and yet, for some reason, you've decided that they're the one's who are wrong.
Maybe they do, but I think it's more likely that they don't want to be persecuted because they love people who share their sex and would like the government to recognize their relationships as valid, just as it does for straight couples.
Similar sins? What do you have in mind? Biblical lists of evil things have a lot of no-nos, and homosexuality is down there at the level of polyester. Yes, I know it's at the top of your list right this minute, but that's only because you see it as an issue that will fire up the voters....which is probably a sin in itself.
Actually we hate your strain of Christinaity -- not your mascot -- for telling us what we do & do not feel & know, that inoffensive actions, choices & preferences are "evil" for no actual reason beyond "'cuz ancient desert superstition says so" and for basically being a bunch of living insults to the very concept of human intelligence. We don't hate your invisible friend. We hate you . Your attempts to pin the blame for your words & actions on said spook are as transparent as a child blaming the missing cookies on their imaginary friend and like the parents of said child, we're not fooled.

There's the rub. People who don't obey with fundie strictures about relationships should somehow be made to pay. But they aren't, so fundies get upset and make up stories where they see the error of their ways and become 'ex-gays' or where they do pay.
