When I was a child, being called a girl or, worse a [gay euphemism], would earn the speaker a sock in the nose.
Now you can be fined, jailed, perhaps denied employment [there is a bank that may step into this morass soon]...
Eventually any sense of Godly righteousness will be met with violence, fueled by godless lust..... that will be Sodom.

I'd say Bible God suits your personality, such as it is, just fine. Unable to handle teasing, prone to temper tantrums (aw didums!) and a screaming great drama queen. That's Bible God all over. I'm guessing thick as fuck as well.
"Eventually any sense of Godly righteousness will be met with violence, fueled by godless lust..... that will be Sodom."
No, that would be justice.
So, socking someone in the nose for calling you names is "Godly Righteousness"?
Oh, there's another option, laugh at them & walk away.
After all, HE did say to "Turn the other cheek", "Love your neighbors", "Love your enemies & pray for them", "Forgive & you will be forgiven".
But you're a wingnut and the REAL Jesus is alien to you. You worship the Antichrist aka "Republican Jesus".
When you were a child, society righteously punished those who slung insults at others. Now that you're an adult, society righteously punishes those who sling insults at others. Wait, what's the problem?
I don't geddit.
Aw, you're all butthurt that you can no longer practice your 'faith' in public? Poor old you! [/hyper-patronising]
But hey, if you need to practice said 'faith', then you must be pretty shit at being a Christain; and if you consider violence against anyone not exactly like you to be 'Godly righteousness', then you & your Raptard ilk? Sod 'em !
... and when I was a child I actually WAS a girl. Remind me again, why 'girl' is a slur, will you? A little misogynistic, are we?
Wait, are you supporting the conditions when you were a child or decrying them?
Either way you are still a nutbag.
Godly righteousness equates to fights breaking out on the playground? That does make sense, I guess.
Plenty of people who have been harassed for being perceived as different have not been able to fight back. People who are jailed or fined must do more than just call names. And, yeah, you can get fired for inappropriate conduct in the workplace, which does involve aiming slurs at your coworkers and other people and saying bigoted shit. Life is hard, I know.

So you want to eliminate the laws against assault?
(J-)
"Wasn't there some 'turn the other cheek' thing in their book?"
Well, to be fair, the Jews were under Roman occupation when that was written. Back then, it was either turn the other cheek, or get some centurion's gladius shoved up your ass.
So, we're all going to burn because of sodoms lust... For money.
See, you guys are totally commies.
@Tiny Jeebus
I think Wally's saying case a) was retaliation for implying homosexuality, which would make him (in his mind) a second-class citizen, and the use of violence proved his masculinity.
case b) was unjustified because it is both nonviolent AND draws from the belief that gays are just as human as straights are. Obviously that can't be the case /sarcasm
To everyone talking about the whole turn the other cheek thing: Jesus meant it literally. I can't remember exact details, but in that time, the people would strike those they considered lower than themselves with a certain hand and it kept them from acknowledging them. If you turned your other cheek after they smacked you, they would have to hit you with the other hand, which meant that they were acknowledging you. Jesus did not mean to forgive them.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
