, okay i say this crazy bumper sticker yesterday, they had the obama sticker on their car & they had a bumper sticker saying "god is not a republican", i was shocked so i guess it was implied that god is a democrat & for everything democrats are for, that bumper sticker was just crazy & i could not believe it

Well it depends of which god you're talking about. The Christian god is certainly a homocidal dictator. Jesus, on the other hand, was a bleeding heart liberal. Most other gods are at extreme points of the spectrum as well, but many of the polytheistic gods could fall anywhere upon it. I like those a lot more since they were at least imaginative while maintaining human qualities and, aside from the supernatural elements, seemed plausible.
Oh, yeah. Crazy to assume that any God out there is beyond politics. No, he really wants Alaska to have a new oil pipeline, right? *shakes head*
If the sticker shocked this woman, imagine what'll happen when someone informs her that 1) there are more than two political parties in the USA and 2) other countries handle their political processes differently.
You should read your Bible. Jesus was a liberal opposed by the conservative Pharisees, God tells us to be liberal 7 times(KJV) and NEVER tells us to be conservative. Of course if you read your Bible you would know Rapture isn't in there, and your whole little cult is a farce.

Saying X is not Y does not imply that X is the opposite of Y (let's call it Z) when Y and Z are not the only options, and when, in fact, Neither Y Nor Z is an option as well.
If you said "My pet is not a cat," would people automatically assume it was a dog? No. Because you can have a pet that is neither a cat nor a dog. And a person can be neither a Republican nor a Democrat. In fact, a deity that has existed before us silly humans decided to have political systems more advanced than "give Zog most meat, he killed lion yesterday," and before we were even around to do that, would MOST LIKELY be neither.
If you wished to be precise, then according to the original Greek/Atheanian definitiond of "Democracy" & "The Republic", then God is not a Democrat...
