Homosexuality is not normal, we need to find out what causes it for sure and erradicate that. I blame the acceptance crowd in part and the public school systems. I also blame society's acceptance of "sex sells". You can't hardly watch anything on TV without explicit sexual content, inuendo and suggestion. Even video games are full of it these days.
I don't see the problem with discussion of the topic on a conservative forum either....how are matters to be dealt with by not discussing them. A failure to communicate helps no one.

If the entire thesis of your argument is that homosexuality is not normal, you really don't have much of an argument, do you? Here's some other things that we might do that aren't normal:

Odd. I had a gay French teacher in high school back in 1961, and that didn't give me the slightest urge to have sex with those of my own gender. As for little hornballs, they have been all over the world, all over time. It's called puberty.

Actually, I think they'd be all in favor of this. They claim to want government out of people's lives until it's something they want to force upon everyone else.
If gays could recruit, I'd be gay. If gay-ness was a choice, I'd be gay. I'd rather be gay than have to deal with women. But no matter how much I wish, I'm still not gay. And why is that? because I can't DECIDE to be attracted to men. I still find them aesthetically repugnant.

The trick is to quote the fundies description of the solution exactly when using it as a solution to a real problem ie "School programs should be mandated by government teaching children anti gay bigotry is immoral and destructive" or "If it's genetic, the obvious solution is to abort fetuses with the criminal genes."
The head explosions that follow are entertaining as hell, though you'll probably have to around the circle a few times until the fundie realises what's going on. Sometimes they never catch on, but that's entertaining for the audience.

Some of us do reproduce. My ex's father was gay, but he had two daughters with her mother before he came out. The sister is, as far as we know, straight as can be.
And the rest of us? The straight people reproduce /for/ us. We don't need to recruit anyone, nor is it possible to do so.

Homosexuality is fairly normal; as it can be found in many species, it must serve some natural purpose, right?
We do know about a few factors that increase the likelihood of someone being born gay. The more sons a woman has, the more likely it is that at least one turns out gay. It's almost like Nature sees the possible need for a surrogate father in the future. Let's restrict women to only have two to three sons, OK?

I'm trying to overcome the irony that Christians constantly chant "gays recruit, gays recruit" coupled with the fact that I have had dozens of Christians try to convert me to their religion, yet not a single gay person has ever tried to convert me to homosexuality.
Gays don't need to recruit because:
a) homosexuality is a naturally occurring phenomenon
