> Its really funny to see how all the evolutionists feel so threatened by this.
Not really threatened, amused maybe- annoyed that you just don't get it after innumerable rebuttals- yes.
> If evolution is so pure and true, then you should have nothing to fear from "intelligent design" being taught as another theory of creation.
Scientists who understand the ToE are not afraid of things that are just wishful thinking and delusional thought processes. Meds really do help with these issues.
> You have a LOT to fear because the theory of evolution does not hold water when scrutinized.
You're holding the mirror backwards.
> But it really is easier to believe in evolution.
Yes- it's easier to believe in something that has a mountain of evidence to back it up, (at which time it stops being a belief and becomes accepted as a fact) versus a misguided notion based on a desperate need to see yourself as something better than you are.
> Believing in evolution allows you equate human beings to the beasts of the wild.
I have no problem with seeing the similarities between me and my cats or my dog- we have DNA in common, after all.
> When you put people on the same plane as animals instead of beings created in God's image, it makes it easier for you to justify the horrors of abortion, euthanasia, and other such atrocities.
I have never justified or even felt a need to justify abortion, euthanasia, or other such "atrocities".
These things are part of the natural world- as long as humans have wandered this planet, those problems have been part and parcel of the human experience. And as long as humans are around, these things will be with us.
I don't support indiscriminate murder or killing in general unless there is a purpose behind it. Allowing a terminal cancer patient to humanely end their life is not murder but a form of compassion.
Terminating a pregnancy when the fetus is no bigger than a pencil eraser, can't feel any pain because the nervous system hasn't developed yet, and the mother is a 14-year old girl that can't responsibly raise a child is not an "atrocity".
Case in point (euthanasia)-
I had a cat named Prince that I loved dearly- he was a sweetheart in every sense of the word. I could see the way his expression brightened up that he loved me. Unfortunately, he had a terminal genetic defect that robbed him of all voluntary muscle function from the belly button down. He eventually lost control of his bladder and his colon and couldn't control when he went to the bathroom.
It broke my heart to see him that way and I had to make the heart-wrenching decision to put him down humanely with euthanasia. My cat literally died in my hands.
How FUCKING DARE you say that euthanasia is not a humane thing to do. Indeed, it was the only thing I could do- I refused to watched him suffer and putting him to sleep peacefully was the only human thing to do.
YOU FUCKING MAKE ME SICK THAT A PIECE OF SHIT LIKE YOU IS ALLOWED TO SPEW SUCH HATEFUL GARBAGE.
The only reason that I tolerate such obvious tripe from the likes of you is an overwhelming knowledge that everyone has the right to think and say what they want. The fact that you actually BELIEVE the BS you write makes me even sicker.
Sincerely, DIAF.
